Introduction
Because anabolic steriods increase stamina and improve performance in sports, there has been an increase in the use of these substances by Olympic athletes. The risks, however, are great. In this webquest, you will examine the controversy around performance enhancing drug use by Olympic athletes and mandatory drug testing by officials.

Introduction:
Introduce the topic. Why is it a controversial issue? What is the controversy? What are the arguments for and against?
Reasons for and against:
Create two lists. The first should include ten reasons to support mandatory drug testing and the second should be ten reasons not to support it. Information in each list must be based on current research, written in full sentences, and based on fact, not opinion. Use information from your articles in this part.
Conclusion:
This is a closing statement that you will write to convince the reader to adopt your point of view that you support based on your research. It should be four to five sentences long (paragraph). The question you need to answer here is: Are you in favor of mandatory drug testing? Why or why not?

Conclusion
"Our efforts have as much to do with protecting the health and well-being of the overwhelming majority of athletes who compete clean as catching and sanctioning the few who unfortunately break the rules," USADA chief executive officer Travis Tygart said about testing for the Beijing Olympics.
The USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) is heading a program they call "Project Believe" to combat steriod use.
